Tom Pratt

Tom Pratt has over 30 years of experience in accounting, taxation, financial management, financial advisory, and business operations. He started working at a young age in the family businesses, Pratt’s Office Supply and Pratt’s Tax Service. While attending Florida International University he worked in the South Florida banking industry with mergers and acquisitions. He transitioned into the financial planning, insurance, and investment advisory industry with Primerica, American Express Financial Advisors, and Ameriprise. He also worked as a consultant for both The Ken Blanchard Companies and 4D Success, where he applied his skills and expertise in leadership, business operations, and employee development with companies such as Motorola, United Technologies (Pratt & Whitney), Fast Industries, and American Honda.

He started Pratt Financial Group (PFG) in 2006 with a vision to help both individuals and small businesses in the South Florida community with financial planning, accounting and tax preparation services.  The practice currently serves over 500 Individuals and Small Businesses.

His engagement in community organizations include active member of Rotary International since 2006 serving as President of Coral Springs-Parkland Rotary Club, Youth Services Chairperson, and Conference Chairperson for Rotary District 6990. Past Board Member for YMCA of Northwest Broward as well as Past Chairperson for JP Taravella High School Broward Schools Partners In Education program.
